I used to use a foil shaver and moved to a big brand razor blade but it left my skin irritated and I often had cuts. I then moved to a Philips and have been very satisfied with their range of shavers that I have owned. Much better than a foil which tend not to shave close after the first month of use and are prone to breakage leaving shards of metal sticking up. The last philips I had lasted for around 4 years, still sharp and still works, only the batteries are loosing their charge after this time. My new shaver has only been charged once so far, and I still have 4 bars out of 5 and I have used it for days and days, quite amazing. Also now very quiet which is nice. Yep, recommend Philips / Philishave.

Hi Steve,
wondering if you can help, I have purchased a braun series 3 390cc shaver from amazon – they have a money back guarantee until june if your not happy with it.
I received it 2 days ago and to be honest shaving takes a lot longer and the end product is not that good – uneven due to the different directions my hair grow!

Wondering – you mention using a previous brand and if you can compare the philips to it isit a close shave and would you recommend it over a foil shaver?

I’m not saying you don’t have a legitimate complaint. If they are changing the terms and conditions on a regular basis and not informing the developers they do have a problem.
However that article made it sound like there is a terms and conditions page that the developers are beholden to and in most cases the developers/users are responsible for reading, understanding and following them.
That is not to say that they shouldn’t be changing them willy-nilly without making it known that it is happening, just that they are likely covered.

But my initial point from twitter was simply that the BFO app is safe according to the representative from Apple because it has other content than just the tuner.

This comment was sitting in my system for months and I never noticed it, sorry!

We love our neighbours in the UhK, as long as we don’t ever have to look at them, so our flimsy wooden fences help out a lot

I know in Oz neighbours become good friends…LOL…unless of course they turn on you if your the owner of Lasseters and hurl you from a balcony to your death. What ever happened to little Charlene? Madge, Harold, etc. LOL

Wow! Sorry to hear you’ve had such a huge problem with Skype. That was back in March so I wonder if it was ever resolved and to your liking or not? Skype is OK, but I do recall having purchase some calling credits that I don’t think I ever received; I think I sent an email and never followed up.

I hear you though. These companies are royal pains in the ass. Why must it be so difficult to get quality Customer Care in today’s world?

Hello my friend! Thanks for the mention in your review. I absolutely love this post. Makes me want to ditch my BlackBerry and the thoughts of future iPhone 4G ownership in favor of the “open source” Android products. They just need to come out with a stylish enclosure for what seems to be a very flexible, dynamic OS with lots of potential. Maybe you can do a subsequent review when the 2.1 OS upgrade happens!

Thats weird as the ones we get here always seem to last me years and years, at least 6 years if not longer in most cases. I tend to use the Philips ones.

Australia is about to do the same thing. Good for environment.
I hate the new bulbs, cause they're lucky if they last twice as long as the (very cheap) old bulbs.
I buy about 6/yr, as mine constantly die!!
not impressed, when they cost about $5-9 each

i think it's a total crock. And so many other i talk to have the same problem.
oh well. that's life i guess.
